About Me
I’m Anne-Marie Coakley, founder of Coakley Learning Services. With 15 years of classroom experience and over a decade of one-on-one instruction, I’ve dedicated my career to helping students succeed. I earned my master’s degree as a reading specialist and became a Certified Academic Language Practitioner, but I realized my greatest impact would come from founding CLS.
Confidence is key to a child’s love of learning, and I ensure every student feels capable and bright. My approach goes beyond reading —I consider the whole child, incorporating accountability, personal responsibility, and executive functioning skills. Every child deserves the chance to thrive and feel successful in all aspects of learning. It’s like the martial arts of education—mind, body, and spirit!

Services
CLS designs customized learning plans for students, informed by comprehensive assessments and collaborative consultations with families and teachers. I set and monitor goals to ensure success, utilizing research-backed programs and evidence-based methodologies.
